Chocolate-Coated Almonds

These treats are delicious! Great for a dessert or gift.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2/3 cups powder sugar
  • 8 ounce milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder (sifted) optional
  • 1/2 cups powder sugar (sifted) optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degreesF. Spread the almonds on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake until the sugar has melted. Remove and allow to cool. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Melt the chocolate and pour over the almonds. Toss until the chocolate firms up. You can separate the almonds or leave in clusters. (sifted)
  3. *Optional you can dust the chocolates with the cocoa powder and /or powder sugar
