Chocolate Cornflakes Treats

One more fast and easy treat for chocolate lovers. Easy for the beginner chef or for anyone wanting a chocolate treat.

  • 4 cups cornflakes
  • 16 ounce semisweet chocolate chips


  1. Melt chocolate in the microwave with low heat and short times or use a double boiler.
  2. Pour the cornflakes into a large bowl, then pour about half of the chocolate to cover the cornflakes. Mix with a spatula and mix until they are coated. Once the chocolate has cooled and set add the second coat of chocolate.
  3. Scoop the chocolate mix into small mounds onto cupcake papers or parchment paper. Use a spoon to scoop and one to scrape the scooped mixture onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Work quickly before the chocolate hardens. Chill in the refrigerator until hard.
  4. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
