Garlic Broccli

Basic broccoli dish. Fast and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches broccoli or cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup water

  1. Cut broccoli into florets with stems about 1 inch long. *Save the remaining stems in a ziplock bag in the freezer for making broth latter.
  2. Mince the garlic or press with a garlic press.
  3. Place a steamer basket in a pan with boiling water and cover steam for 5 to 10 minutes, until tender. Heat a skillet and stir fry the garlic and broccoli together, add salt and pepper. Serve
  4. *Add Sesame seeds and a 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil if desired.
