Garlic Broccoli is an easy and fast vegetable that makes a good side dish with every dinner.
Basic broccoli dish. Fast and easy to make.

- 2 bunches broccoli or cauliflower
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup water
Cut broccoli into florets with stems about 1 inch long. *Save the remaining stems in a ziplock bag in the freezer for making broth latter.
Mince the garlic or press with a garlic press.
Place a steamer basket in a pan with boiling water and cover steam for 5 to 10 minutes, until tender. Heat a skillet and stir fry the garlic and broccoli together, add salt and pepper. Serve
*Add Sesame seeds and a 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil if desired.
