Grilled Banana Boats

Fast and easy dessert treat. Great for a beginner and great for family and friends.

  • 8 bananas or very ripe plantains
  • 3/4 cup miniature marshmallows or cut large one up
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips


  1. Cut each unpeeled banana almost in half lengthwise. Stuff each banana with an equal amount of marshmallows and chocolate. Place each banana on a 10 inch length of heavy duty foil. Loosely wrap each banana into a packet.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Serve in packets and eat with spoons. These are great to make with the camp fire. Lay the foil wrapped packets on the very light gray coals, the heat from the fire will melt them and make them perfect.
