Ingredients

  • 8 cups boiling water
  • 5 tea bags (your choice of flavor black or herbal)
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • mint leaves garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil, steep tea in the water for 5 minutes. Discard bags. Add sugar. Refrigerate until cold, about 2 hours.
  2. Serve with ice cubes. Garnish with Lemon slices leaves or mint leaves.

Variation:

  1. Sun Tea- Place your tea bags in a glass pitcher or in a large jar, add water and sugar. Cover and leave in a sunny place for 2 to 5 hours. Perfect and so easy. The water in the glass absorbs the sun's radiant heat. This starts the tea flavor to leak out of the bags, which in turn makes the water darken and makes the tea mellow and delicious.
