Mango Mousse is delicious summer time special that is an easy and fast recipe. This recipe can be doubled easily to be used as a pie filling with a cookie crumb crust. After a hot summer day, this dessert will satisfy everyone. You can substitute the mango with apricots or peaches if you like.

Tropical Mango Mousse
This mango mousse recipe is eggless and a vegetarian one as no gelatine or even agar agar is used for setting the mousse.

- 4 cup mango
- 1 can coconut milk full fat
- 3 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp gelatin or koser gelatin for vegetarians
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp coconut grated garnish
In a blender, add the mangoes, coconut milk, lime juice, vanilla, and salt blend till smooth.
Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup hot water. When thoroughly dissolved add to mango mix.
Whip the cream until still and fold into the mango mixture.
Serve mango mousse in glasses and chill the mousse in the refrigerator for some 2-3 hours or until firm.
