Very Berry Popsicles

These are very good for you and at the same time very refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cup berries fresh or frozen (mixed or whatever you like)
  • 3/4 cup low fat unsweetened yogurt
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Pour into popsicle molds or paper cups and insert popsicle sticks in center of each popsicle mold; freeze 5 hours or longer.
  3. To remove popsicles, place mold in a hot water bath for a few minutes and gently rock each Popsicle stick back and forth to remove popsicles from mold.
  4. To store, place popsicles in a freezer bag in a single layer.
  5. When I first made these I thought oatmeal in a pop cycle???? You would never guess it is there. It adds texture and lots of very healthy vitamins and nutrients for you.
